After leaving Microsoft, she joined DreamWorks but soon collaborated with Bill and Melinda Gates to scale their philanthropic efforts, leading to the formation of the Gates Foundation.

Michael Toutonghi began his Microsoft career as a developer in the Windows kernel group, quickly becoming a lead developer. He worked on significant features for Windows 95, including implementing threads and rewriting the time slicer to improve user experience.
